Journey Home Young Adult: Young Adult Residential Program
Journey Home Young Adult provides a homelike setting for our transitional program specifically designed for young adults. As a sister program of Solstice East RTC, we work with young women ages 18-23 that are in need of support and structure while they gain the independent living skills they need to successfully launch into independence and adulthood.
We are committed to helping our students flourish! This means that we work closely with each student to understand their unique interests and goals, and building those into their treatment plan. While attending school, our students will also be working on gaining the skills they need to work toward increased autonomy and independence. This includes skills like meal preparation, getting a job, managing transportation, personal hygiene, appropriate recreation, and time management.
Our flexible yet structured schedule ensures that our students are an active part of our community, with recreational outings and therapeutic groups every week. There is also plenty of time for independent activities, including study, school, work, volunteering, or simply solo downtime. We have intentionally included free time throughout each day so that our students have the freedom to make decisions and choices about what they do with their time.
At Journey Home Young Adult, we want to help each of our students grow, develop, and thrive. We believe that all young women can achieve genuine and lasting change through our comprehensive and compassionate support.

- Identity development
- Low self-esteem
- Low motivation
- Poor relationship skills and boundaries
