Leslie Rosenburg M.A.T

Leslie loves adventure and the deep learning that comes from direct experience.  Leslie has been working with young people since 2000 in a variety of dynamic capacities – as an AmeriCorps Volunteer, as an Art Teacher, as a Mindfulness Instructor, and as a Wilderness Therapy Guide.  She has a Bachelor’s in Sociology from Wesleyan University and Masters of Arts in Teaching from Western Carolina University.  Throughout her career she has used her creativity and enthusiasm for teaching to design and implement programs in schools and universities, in after-school programs and non-profits, in the wilderness, and internationally.  Leslie sees the profound effect the outdoors has on students of all ages.  Her goal is to create a rich program that helps students expand their comfort zones in ways that promote confidence, relational learning, and healing. Leslie is a visual artist and works in her home studio with wood and mixed media.  She’s a student of meditation and guide in the Shambhala Tradition.  Her favorite therapeutic adventures include mountain biking, trail running, hiking, and kayaking.
