Who is right for Solstice?
Solstice East is one of the United States’ top residential treatment centers for female, non-binary, and transgender students aged 14-18. We offer an integrative program for adolescents who are struggling with a wide range of challenges and issues through a variety of therapeutic modalities and experiential treatments. Our small staff to student ratio ensures that each resident receives dedicated care and attention through our therapeutic approach as well as in our academic programming.

Finding The Best Fit For Your Child
It is imperative to us that every family find the best therapeutic and residential fit. Our program is highly effective for many adolescents, but it not for everyone.
It may be helpful to know during your search that we will not be able to serve efficiently teens who display the following characteristics:

- Have a history of physical aggression or a diagnosis of conduct disorder.
- Are acutely suicidal and present a high risk or danger to themselves or others.
- Are experiencing psychosis or impaired reality testing.
- Have an overall IQ score lower than 90.
- Are medically unstable.
