Mentor, Full-time, Part-time or PRN
The Mentor position directly oversees students and participates in their daily activities with them. Mentors report to Team Managers who provide direction from treatment team regarding therapeutic needs of students. Mentors are expected to provide a good example to students, set and hold behavioral limits and boundaries, carry out instructions of treatment team, and ensure safety and wellbeing of students.
Minimum of high school diploma–some college preferred. Interest in the social sciences. Strong boundaries with the ability to set and hold behavioral limits. Ability to manage multiple students and ensure their safety and wellbeing. Ability to work as one member of a large team.
We are currently seeking a Masters or PhD-level licensed therapist to join our clinical team. Experience in adolescent residential treatment preferred. This is a salaried, full-time position including benefits (Health benefits, Personal leave).
* Masters degree or Ph.D. from an accredited graduate program in a behavioral health-related field, including graduate degrees in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
* Must have current licensure within their professions (LAC, LPC, LMFT, LCSW etc.) by their respective State Boards and be eligible for and acquire licensure in the state of North Carolina.
* Experience in adolescent residential treatment.
* Excellent communicator.
* Ability to work in team environment, and to work independently.
* Excellent organization skills.
* Ability to lead large group activities.
JOURNEY HOME EAST House Parent, PRN
We are seeking qualified applicants to become members of our direct care staff. This position is a PRN. PRN employees work a fluctuating schedule based on the needs of the program. Hours and schedules may change based on census and business needs. Suitable applicants are responsible and positive role models who are outgoing and energetic. Our House Parents ensure the provision of physical and emotional safety of our residents at all times. Experience in residential settings preferred. Due to the age of our residents, qualified applicants must be at least 25 years old.
